Marseille – ocean, diesel, soap

November 5, 2016 Imogen Parry

Marseille is salt and pines. It’s the diesel of boat engines. And – where fishermen unload small boats into market stalls with blue troughs – it’s iodine and ocean.

It's walking though pockets of street air fragrant with soap.

Embraced by Savon de Marseille.

Everything clean.

For ten, fifteen paces.
